DPD

I currently use exclusively DPD - so far this has been the most reliable and the most cost-effective option. Most packages took 2 days to arrive and the cost was 20-25 euro, depending on the destination.

PLEASE NOTE:
The minimum order for international customers is 30 euro (shipping excluded).

For orders od 50 euro and more, there is a flat rate shipping fee 10 euro (applies to all destinations within the EU). Styrofoam box lining is included free of charge.

I am sorry but I DO NOT SHIP TO THE US. Shipping life snails there is A) illegal, unless you, the buyer, have a special permission and B) too dangerous for the animals since the trip is very long (snails are sensitive to extreme temperatures, especially to heat).
HOW I PACK
Snails are packed in small plastic boxes filled with damp moss. To offer extra insulation, I add coconut peat sometimes. If you have any preference, let me know in advance. There is always a piece of food too, usually a sweet potato (doesn't rot easily).
Plastic boxes with snails are placed into a large paper box. Extra space is filled with styrofoam pieces for both safety and insulation (plus air flowing easily through). Lately I started to add full styrofoam box lining. I helps prevent both freezing and overheating.
I don't like heatpacks because they seem hard to control (both heat and position) - I prefer not to ship when weather might require them.
I do charge 1.50 euro for the styrofoam box lining for orders of less than 50 euro. For orders of 50 euro and more, it is free.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
PAYPAL:
There are two options that Paypal offer:
1) "Send money to a friend" - this means that there is no Buyer Protection and there are no fees involved.
2) "Pay for good or services" - if this option is selected, Paypal offers Buyer Protection. This comes with extra cost - extra fee that Paypal will deduct from the transferred amount without the sender knowing. If differs but it is about 5%. So if you choose this option I will charge you extra 5% on the top of the total price to cover the extra Paypal fees.
BANK TRANSFER:
I do not charge anything extra; my bank takes only a very small fee for such transfers.

Lately I have started using DPD exclusively for all the EU packages.
Regarding the UK shipping, only UPS seems to be an option - prices differ based on season, size and destination but it is about 25-35 euro. To be honest, I haven't shipped to the UK since Brexit - so please unless you do want to share the potential risk, do not contact me about shipping to the UK.
